The Mandrake proudly announces its collaboration with Berlin-based 3D Artist & Art Director, Harriet Davey, for an exclusive residency from 21st to 28th August. The residency will showcase Harriet Davey's captivating art, inviting guests into a world of shimmering, otherworldly beings and captivating animations.
We are thrilled to host such a talented artist in residence and offer our guests the opportunity to witness the brilliance of Harriet's work first-hand. Harriet Davey’s artwork will reside at The Mandrake between the 21st – 28th of August – no pre-booking is required.

Harriet Davey, based in Berlin, has garnered significant recognition for her exceptional talent in crafting glossy, luminescent alien-like creatures that captivate the imagination. Their unique artistic style merges technical precision with boundless experimentation, creating a realm of ethereal, post-earth imaginings that transport viewers to surreal and mesmerising dimensions.
During Harriet's residency at The Mandrake's Studio 5, guests can witness their creative process in real-time via an interactive live stream on Twitch. Accessed from the hotel’s art-filled lobby space, the live stream will give a unique insight into the software and techniques at the heart of her art and allow visitors to interact with Harriet while constructing their digital masterpieces.
Additional highlights of this collaboration include the display of Harriet’s NFTs and video artworks in the hotel's iconic entrance ‘portal’ corridor and the creation of a unique Instagram face filter based on their Mandrake character creation so guests can become Harriet's artwork.
As part of the collaboration, The Mandrake will arrange three open studio sessions between 5-6 pm on Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th, and Monday 28th of August, to allow art enthusiasts and curious onlookers to engage directly with Harriet Davey. These interactive sessions will provide a captivating platform for Harriet to share insights into their artistic inspirations, techniques, and the stories behind her evocative creations.
